Mass of the Holy Spirit for the Seminaries

This year’s mass of the Holy Spirit was celebrated by Most Rev. Rolando J. Tria Tirona, the Archbishop of Caceres last June 5, 2015 at the Holy Rosary Major Seminary Good Shepherd Chapel.

In his homily, Archbishop Tirona stressed the importance of the Holy Spirit in ones formation to the priesthood. He said that the Seminary is a school of FAITH, WISDOM and CHARITY. The Mass of the Holy Spirit was attended by the Holy Rosary seminary communities – the Minor Seminary, Preparatory Seminary and the Major Seminary. Aside from those seminary communities, the SOLT and Franciscan communities, together with the staff and professors attended the celebration.

Fr. William Parde heads the Holy Rosary Major Seminary with 15 other priests formators of the Philosophy and Theology departments with 235 seminarians. Fr. Mario Gaite heads the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary with four other priest-formators of the High School department with 59 seminarians, while Fr. Eugene Lubigan heads the Preparatory Seminary with 30 seminarians.
